17th annual Sport Canada Research Initiative (SCRI) Conference

Oct 26, 2023 - Oct 27, 2023
Ottawa and online
The 17th annual Sport Canada Research Initiative (SCRI) Conference, the country’s leading sport participation research conference, will take place on Oct. 26 and 27, 2023 in Ottawa and online.
At SIRC, we believe that the future of conferences lies in offering flexibility to our attendees. That’s why we’re moving away from the either/or of place-based or online events. Whether you choose to participate in-person or virtually, we’re committed to providing a rich and engaging experience.
The conference format is designed to foster collaboration and engagement, with a mix of keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive poster sessions. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from leading experts in sports research, connect with peers, and share your own insights and experiences.
SCRI is for enthusiasts involved in the development of sport in Canada – from clubs and national sport organizations to sport researchers and policy analysts – to share their knowledge and make new connections.
Stay tuned for additional details on speakers, registration and lots more.
