Session Description - Elite athletes distinguish themselves from great athletes with the work they consistently put in, the mindset they maintain and the systematic use of the tools they know help them achieve their peak performance. Collecting these tools, and knowing when and how to implement them, is part of the process! Utilizing Gary Mack’s concept of the Mind Gym, we are going to actively develop the tools of visualization, self-awareness, and mindset to flex our mind muscles and develop our mental game!

Mental Performance
Presented by Joshua Hoetmer
Wednesday, May 18 2022 5:45-6:45 PM
Session Description - The choices athletes make can move them toward or away from achieving their goals and finding success. The "Choice Point" is the space you are in, right before you make a decision. It's a moment where you pause and connect with your why before you make a decision. In the session, we'll also dive into a mental performance introduction, how emotions influence performance, and standards of behaviour. The goal is for everyone to leave the session learning one or two new pieces of information that they can immediately implement.
