Active Alberta Coalition

Active for Life
Active for Life is a Canadian not-for-profit social initiative founded by B2ten. We are a national initiative created to help parents give their child the right start in life through the development of physical literacy.
Active Lethbridge
The Active Lethbridge initiative is a product of the efforts of the Healthy Communities Association of Lethbridge and Area (HCALA). HCALA is comprised of community stakeholders including the Lethbridge Sport Council.

Alberta Sport Development Centre Southwest
ASDC's provides integrated programming aimed at identifying, supporting, and developing emerging athletes at all levels throughout the region. Their vision is to create a fully integrated sport environment that advances the success of our regional athletes at both the provincial and national level.

Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport
The CCES is an independent, national, not-for-profit organization working for and on behalf of athletes, players, coaches, parents, officials and administrators. We recognize that true sport can make a great difference for individuals, communities and our country.

Coaching Association of Canada
The Coaching Association of Canada educates and certifies coaches. Through coaching education, research, and advocacy programs, the CAC promotes safety in sport, works to increase diversity and inclusion in Canada's coaching community, and strives to enhance the sport experiences of participants.
Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta
The Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta manages charitable gifts from generous donors in permanent, income-earning endowment funds, and distribute the investment income earned to the registered charities our donors wish to support.
E-Alliance - Research Hub for Gender+ Equility in Sport
E-Alliance’s team of multi-disciplinary sport scholars is the research engine which propels gender equity in sport in Canada forward. We work directly with key Canadian sport stakeholders at all levels to achieve Sport Canada’s goal of gender equity in sport by 2035.
Ever Active Schools
Ever Active Schools is a provincial initiative designed to create and support healthy school communities. We engage and support schools through a Comprehensive School Health approach, which addresses health and education goals to improve the social outcomes of children and youth in Alberta.
Fast and Female
Fast and Female’s mission is to keep girls healthy and active in sports. We do this by introducing self-identified girls ages 8-14 to inspiring athlete role models at non-competitive, fun-filled events all over North America.
High Five
HIGH FIVE® is Canada's quality standard for children's programs. Before HIGH FIVE, no standard existed and there was a clear need for an innovative approach to help organizations enhance program quality and provide positive experiences for children, which would remain with them for a lifetime.

Kidsport Alberta Lethbridge and Taber
KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.
Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame
LSHoF was established in 1985 for the purpose of recognizing the outstanding achievements in sport of individual athletes, builders, teams and special award persons. The Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame identifies and honours, not only contemporary individuals, but also those who have excelled in sport at some time since the founding of Lethbridge.
Sport for Life
Our nationally recognized not for profit organization consists of sport and physical literacy experts with the long-term vision necessary to be catalysts for lasting change within the sport and physical activity ecosystem and beyond.
Sport Inclusion Task Force (SITF)
Sportinclusion.ca will serve as a go-to hub for sport organizations, and the general public, looking for LGBTQI2S+ news, resources, speakers and consultants. It will also provide tools, policies and frameworks that prioritize equity, diversity, and inclusion for LGBTQI2S+ people.
Sport Information Resource Centre (SIRC)
The Sport Information Resource Centre aims to advance sport through knowledge and evidence. SIRC is committed to engaging with organizations and individuals involved in the development of sport, recreation and physical education in Canada and around the world, to enhance the capacity of our shared community to foster growth and the pursuit of excellence.

Sport Tourism Canada
Sport Tourism Canada supports community's capacity to attract and host sport tourism events. As a member Lethbridge Sport Council has access to industry tools and resources.
