Lethbridge, Alberta: The 10th North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) will be held from July 15-23, 2023 in Nova Scotia, Canada. It will host competitions in 16 sports within 21 venues across Kjipuktuk (Halifax), Dartmouth, Millbrook First Nation and Sipekne’katik.
The 2023 Games will bring together more than 5,000 athletes, coaches and team staﬀ from 756+ Indigenous Nations celebrating, sharing and reconnecting through sport and culture with the help of 3,000 volunteers. These games are held every 4 years, hosting events for Indigenous youth athletes ages 13-19.
There are 50 athletes, 6 coaches, and 1 manager participating in the 2023 NAIG from Lethbridge and the surrounding communities, including those from Brocket, Cardston, Claresholm, Coalhurst, Fort Macleod, Glenwood, Hill Spring, Lethbridge, Mountain View, Pincher Creek, and Stand Off.
