ROVING GYMS FACILITATOR ** POSITION FILLED**
POSITION TITLE Roving Gyms Facilitator
WORK SCHEDULE Part-time 5 hours per week (Tuesday and Thursday mornings) for a 14-week term from mid-September to mid-December.
SCOPE OF WORK The Roving Gyms Facilitator is responsible to assist with the facilitation of the Lethbridge Roving Gyms program. This position is supported by the Venture for Canada hiring grant therefore you must be a returning student.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Roving Gyms Facilitator, you'll help bring joyful, active experiences to preschool aged children and their caregivers. You’ll co-lead play-based sessions that introduce fundamental movement skills in a fun, welcoming environment. You’ll be the friendly face that greets participants, sets up equipment, and creates a space where children feel safe to move, explore, and grow. It's all about spreading energy and enthusiasm while nurturing physical literacy and the love of movement.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for someone who brings both heart and hustle to the gym floor. If you’re currently studying kinesiology, early childhood education, recreation—or if you’ve played, coached, or volunteered in sport—you’ll feel right at home. You’re the kind of person who lights up a room, isn’t afraid to get a little silly with kids, and believes in the lifelong benefits of physical activity. Bonus points if you're a student-athlete with a passion for helping others. You should be organized, curious, and confident working both on your own and as part of a team. Most importantly, you care about creating positive, inclusive experiences for every child who walks through the door
TERM 14-week term position, September to December 2026
WAGE $19.50 per hour
