Experience SportFest
SportFest is a free interactive trade show for sport, active recreation, and physical literacy.
SportFest is THIS SATURDAY, May 9th from 10 am - 4 pm at Servus Sports Centre (2501 28 Ave South). Here is what you need to know:
- Admission is FREE
- You'll have the chance to try so many different sports and activities
- You can talk to a bunch of local organizations about their programs
- You can enter to win 1 of THREE new bikes!
- You can learn to cycle safely with the bike rodeo and LPS
- You can give it a try on synthetic ice, turf, mats, and court floor
- There are many draws and giveaways you can enter
- There are activities for all ages
Sport Demonstration + Come Try it Zones!
The Sport Demonstration and Come Try it areas will entertain and educate as well as giving the public the opportunity to try a wide range of activities. All the while local clubs and businesses can showcase their programs and events.
On Turf!
There is turf area at SportFest where organizations will take turns offering 'Come Try It' and demonstrations sessions on the turf! Try rugby, lacrosse, football, and more!
On Ice!
You can participate in 'Come Try It' and demo sessions on the synthetic ice surface with local sport organizations, Bring your skates or borrow some from us to skate on Synthetic ice!
On Court!
Try your hand at volleyball, pickleball, basketball, and more on our court floor! The 'Sport Court' flooring is the newest addition to the SportFest experience!
On Mats!
A padded surface used for combative sports; perfect for wrestling, martial arts, and other sports enhanced by a padded surface!
Bike Rodeo!
Kids of all ages can participate in our bike rodeo! Learn to be safe when riding bikes in your community with our safety circuit! Bikes and helmets are provided.

- Admission and parking is free
- The building is accessible, though the fields are turf
- The venue is on the CITYLINK BLUE bus route, and the closest stop is 28 Ave & College Dr (ID: 12130)
- The 13 STREET SOUTH bus route also stops at College Dr & 28 Ave S which is a hop, skip and jump away
- Dress comfortably and be ready to join in
