ALBERTA ACTION SPORTS ASSOCIATIONIn January 2024, AASA took on three responsibilities vital to the ongoing success of action sports in Alberta:Develop and execute a world class Rider Development Program Promote and run Grass Roots to Pro events for bmx freestyle, scooter, skateboard, and roller freestyle (Inline) around the Province and beyond. Ensure financial sustainability of Alberta's two existing action sports INDOOR RIDING FACILITIES -- House of Wheels Calgary and House of Wheels Edmonton -- and work to expand them. The role of the recreation therapist is focused on creating conditions that enable individuals to successfully experience leisure, despite physical, psychological and social limitations. Focusing on individual strengths and the restorative benefits of leisure, clients can experience improved quality of life. Badminton Alberta is responsible for facilitating introduction to organized badminton and to develop a strong competitive badminton program while protecting and advocating the rights of players and acting as the organizing body, which promotes all aspects of badminton in Alberta. Badminton Alberta is a not-for-profit association run by volunteers, relying on membership fees, self-generated funds, fundraising, and government support for operating funds. Badminton Alberta members include individuals players, clubs and zone association, educators, coaches, officials, administrators, enthusiasts, volunteers, and advocates of the sport.By fulfilling our mission we will keep badminton strong and healthy at all levels on and off the court and be a leader in Canadian badminton. We want to grow interest, performance and participation each year, and we have set performance measures in these and other areas for the forthcoming years.

Canadian Gaelic Athletic Association has been in operation since 1977 bringing the sports that are Gaelic Football and Hurling all across the country since that time. Canada GAA currently have 29 teams across the country competing in different divisions which are the Western Division, Eastern Division and Toronto Division. The Canadian Athletic Association are an association that will support and help any club or location in any way we can to get up and running as well as be a point for guidance and advice. The main purpose is to bring these sports to as many different places, families and people as we possibly can and follow the mantra from GAA headquarters in Dublin which is 'GAA - where we all belong'.
