Proud to Play - Sports are for Everyone

To celebrate Pride month in 2021, the Lethbridge Public Library hosted a 'Proud to Play' virtual panel of guests including LSC Staff, Shawn Daye-Finley. the guest shared stories from their sport experiences, or how important it is to be included, and to be inclusive. The event was a great success, with classrooms participating from across the province. In honor of Pride month this year, we wanted to share some highlights and take-aways from the event.
