SportFest Returns June 7 to Servus Sports Centre

Lethbridge, AB — Looking for something fun, active, and free to do with your family? Don’t miss SportFest 2025, happening Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Servus Sports Centre in Lethbridge. This one-day, all-ages event is packed with exciting opportunities to try new sports, connect with local clubs, and discover the many ways to stay active in our city, all under one roof.

Hosted by the Lethbridge Sport Council, SportFest is completely free and open to everyone. With dozens of hands-on activities, sport demonstrations, and interactive booths, there’s something for every age and ability.

Families who prefer a quieter start to the day are invited to Calm Before the Fest, a low-sensory experience from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. This designated time offers a more relaxed environment for those who benefit from reduced crowds and noise.

Whether you're looking for a new sport, you’re new to Lethbridge and want to get connected, or just looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday, SportFest has something for everyone. Dress comfortably and get ready to participate for FREE.

Event highlights include:

• Four try-it zones with hands-on sport and recreation activities for all ages

• Meet-and-greet opportunities with local athletes, clubs, and coaches

• Demonstrations from a wide range of sports

• Community booths representing sport and recreation organizations

"We often hear that people plan to stop by for an hour and end up staying much longer," says Susan Eymann, Executive Director of the Lethbridge Sport Council. "One of the biggest draws is the chance to speak directly with dozens of local sport clubs about their programs, all in one place. Add in the four try-it zones and the interactive atmosphere, and people are genuinely amazed by how much they can learn and experience about the Lethbridge sport community.”
