Western Canada Summer Games 2019 Results
The 2019 Western Canada Summer Games took place August 9th-18th in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The 10-day competition featured approximately 1,700 top young athletes, coaches, officials and mission staff from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut. Team Alberta delivered strong performances in many of the 16 sports and athletes from Lethbridge and area contributed to this success.
Team Alberta captured 129 gold, 92 silver and 78 bronze medals at the Games. Team Alberta also placed first for medal standings and game points. 17 participants from Lethbridge and area contributed to this hardware collection with 6 gold, 3 silver, and 7 bronze medals!
Congratulations to Team Alberta and the Lethbridge and area participants for their spectacular performances at the Western Canada Summer Games! The Lethbridge Sport Council is proud of the efforts, sportsmanship, and performances of Lethbridge and area athletes and coaches. We are excited to see what these athletes and coaches accomplish next. Best of luck in future competitions.
