Lethbridge Ladies Volleyball League

The Lethbridge Ladies Volleyball League is a vibrant and fun community for women aged 18 and older, offering structured play across three divisions with eight teams in each, totaling 24 teams. Matches are held on Monday nights, with game times ranging from 6:00 PM to 9:15 PM, across several local gyms, including CCH West, Wilson, GS Lakie, Lethbridge Polytechnic, and Fritz.

Divisions Explained

Division A: Competitive play for experienced and high-level athletes
Division B: Intermediate level for solid skills and team coordination
Division C: Recreational play focused on fun, development, and community
Season Highlights

Opening Tournament: Held mid to late September to kick off the season
Year-End Tournament: Celebrated in March to wrap up the league
Facility Rotation: Every few months, divisions rotate gym locations to keep play fresh
Division Movement: Top 2 teams in Division B move up to A, while bottom 2 in A move down; similarly, top 2 in C move up to B, and bottom 2 in B move down
League Membership & Participation

All players must be 18+ and hold a valid Alberta Volleyball membership, which includes insurance coverage
Teams from the current season are given priority to rejoin the following year
If a team drops out, spots are filled from an ongoing interest list on a first-come basis

Join the spares list if you're looking to play occasionally
Teams short on players will reach out to spares for fill-ins
Spares must also complete the required paperwork and hold an Alberta Volleyball membership
