Pathway to Participation for Indigenous Families
Lethbridge Sport Council is happy to announce that we are partnering with indigenous leaders in our community to bring opportunities for sport and active recreation to urban indigenous families in Lethbridge. Our project is called Pathway to Participation for Indigenous Families.
This project will include free events which will give individuals and families a chance to experience new sports they may not have been exposed to previously.
We are currently building a roster of families who are interested in experiencing new sports in Lethbridge. As we continue to confirm dates and locations for these events, all information will be sent to these families.
We are excited to announce that the Alberta Junior Rugby Association has already scheduled a free all ages Come-Try-it event on August 17th at the Lethbridge Rugby Club. This event will allow participants to learn some rugby basics, meet current players and coaches, and even watch a home game!
Families who sign up will get access to advanced registration for all events. These events will fill up so stay in the know and make sure you don’t miss a single event by adding your name to our contact list!
Visit the Pathways page to register your family to be part of this initiative.
