Lethbridge Rugby Club
Have you seen or heard about Rugby and want to give it a try yourself? Or do you have no idea what Rugby is but are interested in trying something new? This is the event for you!
The Lethbridge Sport Council is very excited to announce the first Free Come Try It event of the Pathway to Participation for Indigenous Families project! Feel free to bring a friend.
The Lethbridge Sport Council has partnered with the Alberta Junior Rugby Association to host a totally free event where you and your family can come out and learn the basics of rugby from skilled coaches. Following the lesson, a free healthy lunch will be provided. After lunch, all participants, family, and friends are invited to join us to watch a Lethbridge Rugby Club versus Red Deer game.
Lethbridge Sport Council and Alberta Junior Rugby staff will be on hand to chat with parents, answer any questions participants may have about the sport, and to discuss the fee assistance programs available. This is a family event so parents or caregivers are required to stay (and invited to participate) for the duration of the event.
